MooLogger is a sniffer, a noninvasive device that samples a portion of ruminant’s breath, measuring CH₄ and CO₂ concentration.
Developed in Italy by Tecnosens, MooLogger is a robust system that operates automatically in the roughest environments (such as farms) and provides reliable data for livestock research and innovation.
The sniffer can be installed close to automatic milking robots (AMS) or automatic and traditional feeders, making noninvasive sampling of animal breath.
The sampling nose, placed nearby the feeder, absorbs and filters animal emissions and guarantees accurate measurements of CH₄ and CO₂.
Before reaching the NDIR sensor, the sampled gas passes through an advanced sensor system that filters it, removes humidity, heats and stabilizes it, ensuring accurate measurements even in those challenging and dynamic environmental conditions typical of the farm environment.
The sensors accurately measure CH₄ and CO₂ concentration, while the system records and stores data locally with storage space for more than a year of continuous monitoring.
The user-friendly web interface allows you to export data manually or to schedule automatic submissions via FTP/SFTP. For more complex projects, APIs allow effective integration with customer systems.
